You need to work on that reaction time man.

Weird how your second best r/t yielded the slowest e.t.

Those times are pretty sow but glad you had fun.

Some tracks will redlight you if your r/t is below a .500 but I guess the one he went to doesn't.

some places record your time OVER .500 cause .500 is a perfect RT. So your RT was prolly a .722 but they subtract the .500 and call it a .222. In your case a perfect RT would be .000

Hope that clears it up for some of you.

Yes, I do believe a perfect reaction time is .500 on the 3 yellow tree. Unless the guy with .222 was racing on a pro tree (all yellow at the same time), right?

Anyway, way to go! Don't be afraid to race the slushbox, they have both disadvantages and advantages over the manuals. Put some mods in the engine and you will be below 17 in no time!

Word. Misunderread. Like Vince said, a lot of tracks don't post actual reactions, they post your reaction over .5.

Do you have any suggestions for mods... you can check out my car in the registry... i'm working on getting a TB and headers... intake will be comming in in about a week... hopefully this will help me out... unless, RRM want's to hook it up with a turbo for cheap...

Yeah try holding your breath on that turbo. they cant keep kits in stock for full paying customers.

Jeff: Does level ten have torque converters for our car yet? If you do go that route i would recomend a 2200 stall MAX

Looking at your registry, you actually have a backwards start. I recommend getting an intake before getting the exhaust (you gained horsepower with your exhaust, but lost torque, which is what gives you most of your low end acceleration), but your plans for an intake and TB will fix that problem and you will start to see some much better ETs.

Unfortunately, your suspension mods don't do too much in the 1/4 mile (although your car should do well on the autocross circuit), although they might help maintain traction once you start getting some serious hp (turbo?), and that antenna gives you less wind resistance

But seriously, talk to Boeturbolancer for engine mods and what does what. I'm the autocross/ road course guy, so suspension makes more sense to me, I will actually be asking Boe a number of questions over the next year as I develop the engine in my Lancer. Good luck!

edit: oh yeah, and if you know how to launch already (or once you learn) you might want some grippier tires, and maybe wider rims on the fronts. I'd also ask Boeturbolancer about that (although he has stock OZ wheels), because he's got to be doing something right to be getting the times he's getting.
