Nah, He is a good guy and a clean driver and I was protecting the inside line so He couldnt stick his nose in there. He coulda checked up a bit more but nobody runs a perfect race and the way I looked at it, no harm no foul kinda thing. Had He spun me Id been less enthused but We would have still laughed about it after the race.

I guess Ill be more known than I was I finished 10th which top 10 was my goal at a minimum but I really hoped to be a couple more positions up, but things didnt go exactly as Id hoped. They also did a nice little interview with me, well ok although I seemed kinda nervous here it is. Oh and CJ is the one who worked with bombs not Me, Im not THAT crazy!!

Congratulations! That looks like sooo much fun. What are the rules in terms of engine/suspension modifications?

Marty has gotten a ton of TV time over the past two years. I'm first in line for him to sign my car when hes a famous driver

That's cool about CJ though, explains why he's in to so much of the high tech stuff!

Basically we are only a couple allowances away from being show room stock. No engine mods-only a drop in filter (basically a K&N in place of stock)-cat back exhaust, ecu tuning. We have to run unleaded so we run 100oct. Suspension wise we are allowed to run any strut we want as long as perch height is stock and we have to run stock springs and swaybars. Wheels are stock size, tires can be + or - 20mm from stock size. I run 245 hoosier Rs. So yea my race car is modded less than most of the cars on this forum . Thanks for the kind words, If they dont kill us with restrictions this year, I will be much closer to the front next year

yea, thats the infamous ZOK package you can get on them. Comes with stiffer and shorter springs and Sway bars. They also have 275 tires. I think its good to see an American small car doing well, only downside is they were recently rated the least dependable car you can buy !!

That Pkg. was available for that class too ----- The Z3 looked pretty stable.

Ouch - I just took a tour of the GM Solstice/Sky/Opel GT Plant - Very cool Sucks about their dependability
