Its official...Mitsubishi Canada will be supporting our efforts throughout the Canadian Rally Championship this year and through to the end of 2010! As a result of Mitsubishi's commitment, we will be competing at five of the six Canadian National Championship rounds, with the hopes of securing another championship, or two, or all three (Canadian, U.S., and North American titles). Needless to say, we are proud to be working with and representing Mitsubishi and will do our best to represent their rally heritage and bring home additional championship(s), while securing as many manufacturer points as possible along the way. BMX SUPERSTAR DAVE MIRRA ENTERS THE FRAY AT THE TALL PINES RALLY

The amalgamation of extreme sport athletes continues with the addition of Dave Mirra to the rally community. Dave Mirra, the "Miracle Boy", has dominated the world of freestyle BMX and has won more X Games Gold Medals than any other competitor in the X Games History. His rally debut was at the Tall Pines event in a modified all-wheel-drive Subaru WRX, and it's simply a thrill to be associated with such an athlete...let alone compete against him. When everything was said and done though, Mr. Mirra finished one spot behind us It isn't often one has the opportunity to beat an individual of his calibre, however, as time goes on, he will definitely be a force to be reckoned with, and we'll do our best to keep-up with him in our 2wd Racing Performance Works Mitsubishi.

YEAR-END AWARDS BANQUET IN MONTREAL (January 12/2007)

After securing the U.S. Rally-America Championship at the end of October, and the North American Championship at Tall Pines in November, we flew to Montreal for the weekend to accept the North American Rally Cup, which, now proudly resides here in Manitoba! With the sport’s recent growth, momentum and popularity at an all time high, along with all of the amazing announcements that took place at the banquet, rally racing is fast becoming a mainstream motorsport here in North America and we are honoured to be a part of this trend.

If you missed the national television coverage of the 2007 Canadian Rally Championship over the last 12-weeks, not to worry, as the entire series is being re-broadcast for another 12-weeks, starting this coming weekend. Events are aired every Saturday and Sunday afternoon on A-Channel and CityTV, with coverage of us, including our half-roll at the Pacific Forest Rally in Merrit, BC this past October.

The 2007 Rally America Series aired on TSN last month as well, and the re-broadcast schedule will be announced at a later date. In the meantime, the original ESPN2 broadcasts are all available at:
