Question for those using dedicated track pads
This summer promises to be a very hard track season for my Evo. So I decided to pick up a set of dedicated track pads. These pads won't get any street time except may to and from the track.
My question is should I have rotors to go with them? My current rotors have less than 10k on them and are still very good. Any suggestions?

I picked up Racing Brake 2 piece floaters and while I may not do it over again I am sorta happy that I did. They don't get anywhere near as hot and are wearing like they are made of unobtanium.
Not sure if the improvement was worth the price but I don't plan to get rid of them any time soon.

I have two sets of rotors and pads, street and track. If you have the money and time to go this route, Id say its worth it. You dont have to bed in and re-bed in rotors all the time. Plus you'll get a long life out of both sets.

PS: I am running Girodisc Rotors and Raybestos ST-43 pads.
