I am so dissapointed with the way Quali went for Kimi. The anvil has fallen once again...

Hell of a lap for RK, he should have been on pole. Hope LH will have problems tomorrow.

Grillpt and Nick,

Were you guys wondering as to why Kimi shut it down so early? I mean after watching the incar and him going down through the gears and then shutting it right off? why wouldn't he leave it in a gear alil longer to ensure that he would pass the pit line so that he could get in Q3.

The only thing that I was thinking of was that maybe it was trans trouble like they thought and that it would slow him down more trying to run it farther, but then they stated afterwards that its a fuel pressure problem? Obviously he has to protect the car but I feel like he would have a good feel for the car and if it could go farther or not... idk its frustrating.

Your thoughts?

^ If he left in gear he would have never even came close, he needed to get into neutral to try to roll into the pits.

I think he was still getting power, he didn't lose all fuel pressure. it wouldn't have just been him winding down in a gear and shame on you for thinking that I was that silly.

I'm sure Kimi is well aware of what he needs to do in those situations. Think about what damage he could have done to the engine limping it back to the pits with low fuel pressure. Changing the engine would cost 10 spots on the grid. I'd rather start 16th then 22nd.

In may be slower, but it's going to be a lot more interesting watching these guys go at it without traction control. That in-car of Kubica, Hamilton and Bordais was great.

I feel sick having watched that race last night. I hope things turn around for the Scuderia next weekend.

Congrats to Nico, the first of many I'm sure...

Man... I stayed up till 230am to watch the race. I loved every minute ... they knew what they were doing when they took traction control away. The race was really interesting. GO LH!!! KOVI played his part. Down with Ferrari.
