Anyone else using this?

I'm installing a GPS lap timer w/tach and shift light this weekend. I already have the unit, just got to wire it up.
Here's the link to the unit: http://www.starlane.com/en_Athon_GPS...shiftlight.htm
I already have it linked to my computer and the track mapping software. It's a small unit. Developed for motorcycle mounting and use, but it sits nicely right between my AFR guage and boost guage on the steering column. I was concerned about the internal antenna on the unit, but inside my house it gets 6-7 satelites so I don't think it will be an issue in the car. I will post some pics when I get it mounted

Good to see ya again man! Can't wait to run up against you at Summit again! Still spittin' like 30' flames? lol. I'm looking into items like this. I'd really like to find something that is a GPS (normal driving directions) and has track lap timing... not really concerned about a shift light or anything like that.

You've gotta tell me how this works for ya man.

You should look into http://www.maxqdata.com/ best bang for the buck data aq. IMO. You can use it with a nav system.

To the OP, just see how it does. I find mine works best at the front of the windshield. I know a vette owner that had problems with his on a camera mount, it was in the center of the car on the harness bar so the whole roof was blocking the sky.
