Are my calipers salvageable?
Just my luck ... had a track day scheduled for tomorrow and in trying to get my car ready, any hope of attending the event were brought to a screeching halt by both of the front, lower caliper bolts. Seems like they more-or-less decided to weld themselves to the caliper at my last track day (over 8 months ago). As can be seen in the pictures, one of them broke off, and, while I managed to extract the other one, you can clearly see where portions of the threading are pretty much gone.

Does anyone know if the calipers are:
a.) repairable (I assume so)
b.) still safe to track my car with

I know they're repairable but from what I've seen its expensive.
I know I'm being the party pooper here... but I'd say that's a definate negative on safety. I'm going to a track weekend this weekend too and I know how much that would make me upset, so please don't think I'm being overcautious. I really just think that with as fast and heavy as these cars are and with as much personal brake problems as I've had, running without a couple bolts would be like asking for an accident. I've had a brake related accident last year. I pray that never happens again.

Yeah, there's no way I'd run without the bolts, not even on the street. I can just envision blasting into a corner at the end of a long straight, only to end up passing my calipers as they come shooting off the car, end end up sailing straight off the track.
I'm hoping that just the bolts got messed up and that the calipers still have undamaged threads once the crud and remaining bolt is removed. The last thing I need at this point is to have to try to source a set of new front calipers ...

I'd suggest running a tap thru the bolt holes, and verify they don't strip when reaching proper torque. That's probably what happened in the first place, over torqued, and the threads were partially stripped.

@autoenthusiast - yes I put on a new set. PM me with an offer for the old pair.
@GTisRule - The caliper bolts were not overtorqued. Anytime I have removed them, they've been torqued back to factory spec.
