going to Mid-Ohio need some input on renting garage
I see its possible to rent garage @ Mid-Ohio track. I was wondering if its possible to keep the car overnight there and equipment. Also is this 1 large garage for all that rent it, or are they private.
Im driving from NYC in july12,13 for a track day, and don't want to keep my stuff overnight infront of the Hotel. Im thinking about renting a garage.

I am pretty sure you can leave your stuff there overnight... that's half the point I think.
If you rent a garage, you will get your own stall. There are X amount of stalls per building, depending on the building size. They're private but not seperated by plywood or anything. So, they're private but you can see the car/ stall next to you.
What class are you going to be driving in?

This is for the NASA event, correct? You can rent the garage when you register, but I wouldn't be surprised if they are all spoken for already. If you haven't registered yet the only spots open in HPDE and TT are on friday. Saturday and sunday are sold out.

They are big enough to share with another car if you like but are very popular and are often rented out a year in advance.
Check quickly and if rented try to find someone to share space with!
As for safe... I have not heard of too many problems.

yeh Im going with Nasa. I registered couple of weeks ago . I'll be running with HPDE2 group.
This is my first time going to Mid-Ohio. Going to drive about 9 hours from Brooklyn, Ny with another Evo from Queens. Will see how it goes, probably next year will get the garage. For nowI guess I will keep stuff at the hotel room overnight lol\
ahh just noticed, when I was registering you were still able to rent a garage, now you can't .. Dohh I missed out I guess.
