Sounds pretty neat and helpful. Bryan, was it simply stashed in the glove-box? If so, i dont think that should pass tech. For safety issues, i would highly suggest that you guys do something more than stashing it in the glove-box.

There are photos of it in that thread. Yes it was simply put in the glove box.

I agree about safety. I didn't have time to do what I wanted to do this time.

For the future I am purchasing a spare glovebox that I will put a mounting solution in, and possibly also a PC type fan in the back of the glove box to keep everything cool. This way I can just swap glove boxes in the car and get to logging.

Cool! Thats the kind of robust reliability you get when using solid state memory with no moving parts I wouldn't recommend people use a regular laptop with a normal harddrive to do the same. I've gotta say that seemed to be a crazy mess of wires ...
