Willow Springs video.

Well I couldn't sleep last night so I sat down and figured out how to get incar footage off the camcorder and into the computer. It wasn't as hard as I imagined. So I will be converting over more videos in a few weeks after I get the shop moved to our new location.

The video is from one session and I edited out most of the non traffic sections of tape. I'll post unedited if someone wants to view it for race line purposes. This was also before the majority of engine mods and the 35R.

Next time you're there, try running up the hill (out of 3 into 4) a lot tighter. Try apexing the first set of alligator strips up the hill, then let it run out, and then bring it back in at 4b. Might wanna try inside through T2 as well. If your car is set up well, it'll stick, and you'll be able to rail right through. Some people claim outside in is the best way through 2, some like to d-apex it, I always liked the inside, so I tested all three with data aquisition a while back. More mid corner, and exit speed, and a higher top speed right before you brake for three. On top of that, there's ripples out there in the middle of 2.
The line through 3 is THE line. Through 2 as I wrote, your car would have to be set up well enough to hold a tight line. You'd want to run all 3 and see what works for you best. Me, if my car (bike..whatever) like to push out, I'm twisting knobs 'til it stays tight.
Happy flogging!
