Quick Release Steering Wheel Hub

Which ones have you used, and how do you feel about them?

I've heard that a few people have put release adapters on their Momo wheels on older Ferraris. They move the wheel an inch or so closer to the driver.

But remember that the USDM EVO-8 has an airbag mounted on the steering wheel, so you have to consider whether you still want to use the car on the street.

Oh no I am not looking for spacer, though you are right, a QR also acts as a spacer as it puts the steering wheel about an inch closer to the driver. I am looking for one because after get my caged welded in and bucket installed, I will have very little room climbing in and out of my car and a QR hub will be needed.

FYI: I drive an MKI MR2. And since I figured there must be some hard core racers among the EVO8 owners, I'd probably get some answers.

Is it a hex or spline type? Where did you get it from and how much did it cost? What kind of locking mechanism? Do you have any more info on the unit?
