Seen this car many times and in actions is a very well built and reliable track car.. I would love to buy it if I didn't alread have 2 Evos lol... Bump for this Track car

 

Can't figure this one out either. I was about to say this sounds like a nice fairly straight-forward setup until I seen that. Also a bit leary of the post count of '2' - both for sale posts not in the min 50 postcount for sale forum.

lol. Perhaps that's the difference. I went with an Autometer gauge and it was significantly less.

 

I'm not seeing 75k either. Maybe that was his total cost of going to all the track events; hotel, food, gas, tires, beer, bacon, toilet paper, etc...

 

Well, it doesn't really matter where $75,000 went. Could have gone down the rabbit hole. The buy it now price is $18,500 and the current bid is $15,200. Whether the car is worth that or not is not affected by the claim that $75,000 not including labor went into the car. Maybe he's just a sucker who pays double for everything.

I would ask what sanctioning bodies he races with and whether the car has a current logbook with 2009 annual tech signed off.

 

LMFAO at the $75,000. that is one spiffy boost gauge. maybe it was a 65k dollar tune :shrugs:

 

well it does have a carbon roof, new paint.. still a lil short of 75k if its on stock cpu, engine and turbo

 

I do understand the search - test - design and job part, but sadly the buyers never.

 

Who cares about the claimed amount of money spent, it's irrelevant. It's going for a pretty good deal for a sorted race car.

It was built around a Miller Motorsports Racing League rule set and probably has a log book for that series. Don't worry about the guys post count. Utah has a VERY strong racing scene thanks to Miller Motorsports Park, the guys there spend serious time at the track - they don't need to hangout on the internet.

 

Sorry let me be more clear. Estimated $75k including the cost of the car...
