Godspeed Roll cage
I dont know...i can see these cages going both ways. I've seen pictures of a S2000's with Cusco/Safety21 roll cages rolling off of a cliff and the cage wasn't bent or nothing...plus the driver survived.
I've also seen pictures of drifters flipping their car in their 240 and the only thing hold up the roof was the cage.
It'd suck to use this cage in Time Attacks but i've seen and heard stories of the cages like this holding up. It'd suck if you hit your head on this cage though.

$550.00 would go a LOOONG way towards a real custom cage install that would actually pass SCCA/NASA/NHRA tech.
Besides the lack of diagonal, harness bar or freaking doorbars for that matter, its rear bars are bent (and poorly at that... Zero load transfer... more like a big spring). Bent rear hoop braces aren't legal in most road racing organizations. Each bend in a cage is a possible failure point in any cage. I count 8 unnecessary bends, not to mention the tabs holding the whole thing together

So... spend $550 + a day installing and have an easily installed "cage" but not legal for anything?
Save your pennies and support your local cage builder (we're all hurting right now and most are willing to deal). Have a fully custom cage installed that'll pass tech anywhere you want to take it AND not have to worry about whether one of those 6 tabs above your head will fail when you start to roll
