mechanic toolset and compressor

want to be a weekend warrior and i'm looking for some tools that would do the job. nothing overboard just enough to get started.. putting bolt on mods, rotating tires, changing brake pads and some maintenance for my x

checkout sears craftman makes good tool sets. and compressors. I personally have snap on tools and tool box i have about 15k in tools and 5k tool box but for what i have and the cost of snap on i coulda had every tool id every need from craftsman.

Cant go wrong with quality tools from snap on or craftsman. You get what you pay for and even when they do break they are backed with a lifetime warranty. Haha this reminds me of when I installed my external dump. I broke two ratchets loosening bolts haha. Thanks to my lifetime warranty from craftsman they were both replaced for free

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Moved to here - the racing bunch can tell you what they all bring.

I have full metric wrench and ratchet set with a 3in and 6in extension. Breaker-bar, torque wrench, jack, stands 2x, cleaning supplies, spare brake pads, DOT4 fluid, extra oil, IR temp gun, psi gauge, and a few whatnots.

i look at craftsman they do have some good sale once in a while thanks for the help

for what you want to do i would go with craftsmen- yes snap is a superior brand of tool they are just way too expensive
