Went racing with Road/Race this past weekend. Damn their cars are FAST!! It was at Willow Springs, right past Palmdale, CA. It was open track and anyone can race their cars. Just had to have a helmet. My car is still getting suspension work but it would've been fun to take it.

Rob gave me a ride in his 1G Eclipse GSX Race car...he said boost was turned down but it was still crazy fast. Taking turns at high speeds was the best part, and Rob is a good *** driver. We were talking about how it would be cool to have a lancer thing where everyone could take their lancer to the track. I got a new Road/Race sway bar now also so I wanna test it out. Rob said it will help alot especially in road racing. Let me know what you guys think of getting together and maybe going racing somewhere. I would suggest getting the Road/Race Anti-Sway bar too!!!

BTW..Road/Race had the fastest car out there, smoking porshe's and a bunch of other ****. Their FWD race car is hella fast, nobody can even keep up with it. Going with them the past weekend makes me wanna turn my lancer into a race car.

 

When and where in Las Vegas?

 

Saw Boni's car at RRM and the sway bar. Went to order one myself. Wished I went with those guys to Willow. to Rob run the red 1G. I have seen video of it. Rob Tallini and the car are really fast!!

 

Just returned from Vegas, had a great time. We raced on American Lemans Track with our Eclipse. Very fun and fast. The race was at night so it was even more thrilling for me personally. We finished second in Super Unlimited, which is the fastest class there. We were lucky to to get second since the engine never ran right all weekend. We had some electrical clich. Raced some very fast Porsches one was just a little faaster than us. If we would have had a healthy car we might have had the win. Torn up the town Friday night till about 5 am. Guess what there is to do in Vegas at 5 am? Hint : we don't gamble!!!

By the way, Boni took his Lancer to Vegas. Car ran great, no overheating and it was only 114 degrees when we crossed the desert. I will post pictures soon. Gotta sleep.

Very nice. Ever considered trading in that ole GS-T for a Black OZ with an Intake and exhaust and a bit of meltage on the rear bumper? :cough: Just broke 6,000 miles.

 

Just a little update. Our Cars raced Gorman Ridge Rally this weekend. Four cars were in Production GT. Guess what? Finished 1-2-3 in the class!!! Best car was third overall.
