I distinctly remember that from last year, but before posting I pulled up the rules real quick and I cannot find it in there.

That being said, how did they come into being, or why is mitsu so adamant about not registering them??

Indeed. To mod class they go! I'm sure they can be just as competitive there as well with some slight changes.

I have not seen a single person able to go around the rules like Robi. If he claims something, he knows what he's talking about, I'm sure he already found a loophole.
Wow Robert, you amaze me more and more!

Take winning evo8 in trade?

Agreed. It's an awesome build list at a sweet price point either way.

Redline Mod AWD this year is pretty stiff though.

i think he describes as a street level as a modification level. So you will not think you will buy an open class car.

there has been a reading of this rule to allow Manufacturer/ distributor plates and dealer plates also as long as the car "could otherwise be registered" (these will have Mitsubishi USDM MSO's) the intent of the rule (STREET STOCK CLASS NOT INCLUDED) is that ANY full cage car can't be "street" registered but can run in the Street class...as long as it fits all the other rules...and could be registered without the cage or other safety items. If you don't think you need a cage come out west and run into turn 8 at 145+ at WSIR exit turn 9 at 110 and hit 160 at the end of the straight and tell me you won't need a cage! (all speeds hit by the last Reese tuning /Robispec Redline STREET class winner)

ROb is right on..THANK YOU!. That being said the OWNER of a vehicle could drive this in the street class if all the correct people "vetted" the car. These cars can be ordered to ANY level wanted..(full lexan greenhouse dry carbon doors(6 lbs/door) fenders (save 0), quarters(save 14 lbs/side), and hood (6 lbs skin) just add $11,500.00. (Yes Robispec has ALL these Items avalible!). This is the BASE PRICE. as "Spec'ed"
I'm REQUIRED TO INSTALL A CAGE AND FUEL CELL AND REMOVE ALL DOT SAFETY ITEMS AS A CONDITION OF MY POSSIBLE CONTRACT WITH MITSU...THESE CARS WILL NOT SEE A TITLE...BOSale with all origonal MSO paperwork labled as NOT FOR STREET USE.
