Rally Sprints

This last weekend was my fist time co-driving a rally car. We ended up finishing second in class both days and forth overall on Sunday. Had so much fun this weekend that i ended up taking a rally car home with me (no pictures of it yet)

A huge thanks to my driver Phil Myers he has a ton of help and to Jason Grahn who set this up for me and has tought me everything i know.

It was a fun weekend, and Billy didn't puke on his first codriving experience, which is a success in my book.

I really couldn't have asked for a better car to start in! If Phil ever needs me again i would jump at the chance.

Looks like you had a lot of fun Billy. You look all official in your get up. Like a duck to water huh??

It looks like the sprints were in someone's back yard....

Spints are held annually at the Property of one Ray Damitio, co-founder of the World Famous Doo Wops Rally in WA.

It's a great event and I was sorely sorry to have missed it this year.

Couple of questions BEG to be asked of Billy and his first experience...

1 - Did you drink from the hoof?
2 - How do you feel about naked people in the woods now?

I heard they clipped the big jump some and no more mega air. That's the same one where I put down 29 feet horizontal and 4 feet high. Great jump... or at least it was.

Sorry I missed you Billy. Would have been a BLAST to be there for your official cherry popping event.

Scott

No hoof this year. Or last year, for that matter.

We still ended up getting air off the the jump and the crest after the jump.... and we were the only car to get air off of a right 3 > that didn't crest ( it was very interesting)

Thankfully Shadd was racing so the only full moons i had to endure were Gray and Jason on the start line, it made for a great incentive to get off the line in a hurry

Was that going backwards on course on Sunday, the small crest just before you exit the woods into the finish area? That is a surprising little corner that delivers big air when hit with some speed.

This is that same corner, if it's the one I'm thinking about...

Finally, did you check out the Rally Sim Chair? Ehhh???
