Rally racing is the ultimate test of a car's overall performance, handling, & reliability... great vid!

Ralliart uses the factory UICP and airbox/intake? Does that race require all cars to have the stock powertrain/drivetrain?

they are running in PWRC . The car is a group N car. Which is basically the closest thing you can have to stock in rally.
After that, the cars can be heavily modified depend on the class what they are running.

All the better then, it looks like the X's reliability in stock form has proven itself by taking that kind of punishment.... rolled in like a champ in the end

pity they finished 7th. they should have given some more points for using all those zip ties. somewhere out there, thomas & betts is smiling.

i wonder how in the end the rear windshield is gone?

and now i see how the ralliart undertray can be useful...if you intend to take it off after every drive, it's a lot quicker than the multi-piece plastic.

yep. I did run basically bone stock X in rally once. /even suspension/ It just performed seamlessly. At the forth stage, in the first day, at the rally event, my suspension /after market , KW/ failed. Broken half...
Then we replaced with the OEM ones, and run the whole second day with that, that day, we finished my category 3rd and 9th overall.
Very sturdy car for sure, out of box.

Am I mistaken, or did they actually have an ice skating rink to simulate conditions on the ice? If it was, I must say I am stunned. Its amazing what the Japanese do to overcome space limitations in their country. Like they say, necessity is the mother of all invention.
