I think it's easier, even on 100+ degree hairpins.

Bumpola.

Just got this action today. Sparco 375 and Splash solid mount hub.

The flat bottom wheel, the 353, didn't have a horn button, and was a little small - so I went with the 375 like others are using. Rallysportdirect had everything in stock and to me in 2 days FTW.

has anyone taken it a step further and replaced the steering column as well? i want to get rid of the tilt wheel and use a simple bearing and bracket to hold the column in place. there are a bunch of options for the bearing and bracket, but matching the splines up to the OEM spline by the pedal might be tricky....

and nice wheel JID2! i was thinking the same thing

Call Woodward and see if they'll make the correct piece!

Glad you like it. I am feeling like a bus driver these days(since I put the stock seats back in) so I might hit you up for a set of brackets soon

The guy said he wanted to make sure it would not impact me if I had an upcoming race!! Talk about customer support!

I went with the 375. similar in size to the stock wheel
Glad to hear we helped so many people get the right steering wheel for them.

If anyone has any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

If you have already purchased the wheel and quick release, then disregard.
However, one wheel we liked in our vehicle was the Momo wheel.

Very nice, easy to use. If you want more details, please PM.

I'm using the splash hub, a medium dish Sparco wheel, and a thin NRG quick release mechanism. No slop in the QR at all. My buddy mitch sells them at his rally shop: www.cp-racing.com

My advice is buy the splash hub and wheel you want, then decide if you want the regular QR or the thin QR to finish spacing the wheel out to where you want it.

I have the Splash Rapfix II Steering Wheel Quick Release and the Sparco 375 Competition Black Suede Steering Wheel 350mm in my car and love my set up.

When saying that you have the splash hub adapter it might be helpful to list if you bought the Normal Length or short length.

Rule of thumb is deep dish or quick release get short if shallow dish and no quick release get normal.
