Yeah, we were working flying finish and I was tethered to the laser sensor looking like I was on life support. Ivan rolled through in the course car and started yelling that I had to move further back. "Rally car is missile! You will die!" One of the guys on our crew can do a perfect impression, its hilarious when he does it. He said bullet to another worker instead of missile, but the point remained, "You will die!" LOL

The newer tires from BFG are far superior. I ran our first event last year on that same tread design, bought them used, and found out after the event that they were 10 years old...talk about compound hardening! Missed out on the win by 0.04 seconds...so I've refined my tire useage to the following:

New tires on race day.
Those ^ tires used for practice day at next event.
Used tires of unknown origin are for practice only.
