^^ That notes shaft diameter. I think what most people list is the piston length. I'd ask somebody that's 100% on this though!
Hmm, after looking at a few diagrams of shocks I think I may be okay. So shaft in this sense means the rod that the piston is connected to. Did some car really have shafts over 40mm?? I feel like that would be insanely large, and only found on heavy duty vehicles.

Pssh. Want to be my main sponsor and pay for...everything? I might be competitive in TTU then.

No, but you can sponsor me so that I can run TTA!

That's exactly my question. Here's an image of my dampers posted by Dustin@Vishnu when they released the coilovers. As you can see the rod in the middle is far from 40mm, closer to 10mm I'd say. So perhaps its referring to the middle sleeve. I have contacted Ohlins directly, they're usually pretty good about responding to technical questions. Hopefully their response may help us conclude exactly what the rules are referring to.

Thanks Nathan, and thanks to whoever took the trouble to create it.

+5 : Forced Induction
+10 : BFG R1/Hoosier R6
-4 : 245mm tires
+2 : Exhaust
+1 : High-flow cat/test pipe
+3 : Non-OEM shocks
+2 : Non-OEM springs
+2 : Front anti-roll bar

Looks like I'll need to put back the stock front anti-roll bar if I'm going to run good R-comps in TTB. And that's a b*tch to swap out

I did this last year actually - in order to run TTB!

I tried to get it off w/o undoing the rear control arm or whatever but I couldn't maneuver it correctly. But I was pretty much planning on re-aligning my car before the season starting anyway - so think about it like that!

Btw, if you have a good set of coilovers, you CAN get the car to rotate with the stock RSB. Trust me...

I've been running without a RSB so far and I'm actually pretty happy with how the car rotates. Back when I was attempting to make the car competitive in AStock for SCCA Solo II, I tried going with a bigger FSB to reduce the front bodyroll. The labor involved to get it on was ridiculous! Let's see if I have the patience to do it all myself this time.

My bad - I thought you meant REAR swaybar. But looking back, you said FRONT. Ugh. Yeah, good luck with all that!

Or you could try to shave pts from elsewhere. Run lesser tire or more of the OEM exhaust. Probably not ideal, but ya never know.

The only apples-to-apples comparison I did after installing the FSB was running at VIR. On some sweepers the car felt more poised (ex: turn 10), but on some I felt as if it rotated less (ex: turn 3,4). So overall I don't think it makes a significant advantage. I think an extra 10mm of rubber will be more beneficial. But I might think otherwise after I've attempted to drop the subframe by myself

According to his profile he's got a 2006 IX RS --> base class TTB which is 265mm.

So a 245 would be -20mm or -4 pts. Looks correct to me!

Gotcha. I thought it started as TTC, but too many models and variations to keep straight.

hey loser no tune on that car? or are you running stock boost lines and pill?
otherwise there's another 3 or 4 points depending on how you read the rules.

No just a reflash and no boost pill. Slow as dirt! A reflash is "free" but a pill would add points from my interpretation. What are you thinking of that will add the extra points?
