Porsche on a trailer

Saw this on another forum. Dont have any details, or any updates, but i thought it was too funny to pass up. Not sure if its real. Story is, some guy just bought that Porsche. He doesnt take his neighbors advice and does...that. His neighbor is apparently an experienced Miata track junkie.

This apparently is the thread. I dont feel like creating a user account to see the thread. If anyone is up for it, let us know:

Well he is overly cautious(bottom was also strapped). The paint may not appreciate the caution at the end of the ride.

That'll leave some marks!

Maybe it's the angle, but it looks like the truck is squatting pretty good. And I wouldn't think that for a light Porsche; especially with little/no weight in the front of the car. But look where the car is positioned relative to the trailor axles...nearly in front of them! Tongue weight...

Atleast he tied the extra strap to the racheting part. I have seen too many straps flap in the wind and beat the hell out of paint
