My first roll

A few weeks ago Cody Crane and myself were racing his group 2 CRX at the doo wops rally when this happened http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QknfszhBAkA

We flipped her back over and were able to finish the day with no alternator or power steering belts, that night the car got put back together and managed to be in 4th place over all making a move for third when our coil gave up and the car refused to start.

Hopefully we will be back out at Oregon Trail showing the 2wd guys how it is done.

They were on the car, but it really wasn't very dark at the time so we did not have them on.

Yes the finish was in the apex of the turn. After that we ran the last stage with everything turned off to save battery power then made it back to town in between 2 sweep trucks so we could keep the head lights off. Finishing was a good feeling.

I think the saying is there are two types of rally competitors. Those who have rolled, and those who haven't....yet. Good to see that you can now cross that off your bucket list and that you came out OK.

Here's mine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJklaMQFrcw

And in slo-mo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnBr27ZwkbM

We drove it back down the hill, and if I had brought my full package of spares, we would've been back on the road in time for the last run, as one of the rear lateral link bolts sheared. We wrinkled the roof but didn't damage any windows.
