Nice. But I always prefer engine noise over random music.

 

Oh man, that vid brings back some good memories .. drizzle and all. Had a chance to turn 25 laps over the course of 3 days a couple of years ago. I can only imagine how much more awesome (and a$$ puckering) it would've been in an Evo.

No, Sabine punked me in my lowly VW GTi/BMW 318ti/BMW M3 ... so did a couple of Evos. Interestingly enough, I did surprisingly well in the 318ti, it just ran out of steam on the back straight.

Weeeeell, I guess if I could have put the M3 engine into the 318ti, it would have been the perfect combo. The e36 M3 was a little more tail happy than the 318ti... but certainly not misery, hehe. Hell, they could have given me a moped, and I'd have been happy cruising around the 'ring.

They all left me wanting my Evo, though ... badly. Even the euro spec M3 ... so sloooow.

I met Sabine and her B/F a couple of years ago when she drove the GTI @ NJMP. They were looking for someone to take them down to the Jersey shore afterword. I would’ve, but I had prior commitments.
