Cross member question.

First, thanks to everyone who sent info on what they thought the lightest wheels were. Most everyone was WAY OFF BASE...the new all-carbon wheels from WEDS SPORT are in a league of their own...about 6 pounds each. Even the Dymags are 13-14 pounds in typical EVO fitment sizes.
Am researcing availability, plan to get a set if they are actually for sale. Thanks to the person who sent this info to me.

Another topic...someone here in Bangkok who built a lot of EVO race cars said that the main rear crossmember, which is a God-awful heavy cast iron monstrousity in stock form, was available in titanium when Mitsubishi was fielding It's EVO WRC cars. He thought some company in Europe made these for RalliArt and/or the privateers running EVOs.

Anyone have knowedlge about this and, hopefully, access to one or two healthy used ones? Ready to buy. Thanks, Chris Fisher

First, stop making thread titles with your name. Thats not helpful for anyone. Ill change it for you.

Second, what are you trying to do here? There are lots of proven race cars built. What is all this for?

MML in the UK built the Evo WRC cars. If you want fancy WRC Evo parts, they're probably the people to talk to. They can probably build you whatever you want for a price.

Thanks to Wheel Gap for tip on MML. I sent them an email.

Also got contact for longtime WRC mechanic in Oz from when the EVOs ran in Rally. He may have access to some of the items I'm looking for.

If others are looking for special items like this, let me know. Thnx, Chris
