In car video system, What do you recommend?

Up till now I have just used a GoPro but I think it's time I step it up. Ideally I want something that will record data from my OBD2 port and overlay it on the in car video with some sort of gauge graphic. I have been looking at Chasecam stuff and it is really nice but it's expensive.

Here is an example:

What other options are there? What do you guys use?

If you want to add synch'd telemetry, there aren't too many other options. Race Logic has a little diff system, but it is pricey. RLC and Traqmate both use ChaseCam. I remember there being some HD upgrade to the chasecam in the works, but I don't know the timetable.

The above are the "budget" systems, fancier stuff is available.
