2011 First Event? Why aren't you ready?
Btw, I had my stock seats 'cut' to use 6pts. I took it to a custom truck upholstry shop and they did an excellent job. Easily passed NASA inspection too. I connected the rear of the belts to my Autopower bar too. I'll post a pic below, PM me if you want more info and/or a bigger pic for reference.

Ugh my car is still torn apart these stupid axles wont come out. I still gotta change the clutch, install the turbo and everything back, install my Ohlins, get an alignment, get a new tune for e85.. not to mention the miscellaneous crap I still gotta buy which is about a good $1500 worth of stuff.

good thread.
My first event is March 19th-20th @ NJMP w/PCA. My to-do list is short, but my time is shorter.
Have to do before I hit the track:
flush all fluids (driveline, PS, coolant, Brake/clutch, engine oil)
nut & bolt the car
fix pass side brake cooling duct
install new pads/rotors
order & install grimmspeed EBC
finish tuning the car (including gear based boost control)
things I would like to do before i hit the track:
fabricate rear underpanel
finish my cold air intake
install aftermarket LICP w/boost braces
doesn't seem like a whole lot with 3 weekends left, but with 2 kids under 3yrs and limited time I'll probably be rushing around the night before to get everything done.

That didn't last long, I thought this was gonna be your "cheaper street car" that you were gonna just "test parts on"

It still tagged for street use and it will pass OH inspection. Still testing brake pads on that car. Going to test more on the SVTF for a few other things. I have a set to put on the new car too.
This right here is the truth. Even a short list takes forever when you can only work during naps or after they go to sleep!
Oi, my first event is the 19-20, followed by the 26th if I have the funds.
Left to do:
- Change all drivetrain fluids
- install new IC pipes
- tune for new set up
- buy and install new rotors and pads
Done
- changed rear brakes and pad
- flushed brake fluid and added ATE super blue
- fixed IAC problem
- installed AEM AFR gauge
Not ready yet because I just bought the car and I'm outta monies

Given it's only been out of the garage once since my last event in Oct/2010 - and that was to goto AMS for maintenance and a retune. But it's still tagged! Actually thinking of dropping or at least reducing insurance on it...
Oh, and I started draining fluids and loosening up the suspension bolts last night!
I like this thread a lot. My first event is March 19-20 at High Plains Raceway with NASA Rocky Mountain.
To do in two weeks:
Ugh...
To do in two weeks:
- Build splitter/undertray
- Rebuild calipers
- Flush brake fluid
- Re-tune
- Finalize tire selection
- Set ride height
- Corner Balance/alignment
Ugh...
im on the entry list for RNY already of course the 13th entry... LOL
but before that event i have a 2 day test with the car /posted above the event "alwaysinboost"/with brakes and tune + new springs, we will ditch the snow spring/which are MUCH softer then a oem springs/ for this year on tarmac LOL
if the car going through on that we probably will run Rally NY

i have a brand new Grimmspeed in the box. never even opened. We thought we need for the EU tuner who tuned my car , but he doesnt used it. SO i have it and doing nothing,
If you need it , for a good price/ just shoot me a pm. I can get it to your house in 1-2 days. Im working for FEDEX just like Tom Hanks.
