I've been using my DL1 for a couple years now, just never addressed some of this stuff.
1. When I launch off the two-stage limiter (5500 rpm I believe), the data trace never goes above 5000 rpm, typically it's a peak at 4300-4700 rpm somewhere. Screenshot of the data trace attached (vs time, not position). If I look at video of a run with a data overlay, the video and data never really sync up well for first gear, but they're fine for second gear and beyond. It looks almost like the data can't keep up with the engine, which would be surprising. I'm getting the signal from the ECU.
2. I'm also getting throttle position and coolant temperature from the ECU, but I don't have any equations to turn these into more useful numbers (% and deg F). Anybody have equations they'd like to share?
