Good overall clutch for Time Attack/Time Trail. Help!
No. I think this is what I have. I could check with AMS if you want; they recommended and installed it.

Still doesn't seem to bad compared to a Quartermaster, If you could verify that this is what you have i would greatly appreciate it. I need a new clutch also and you seem to be very successful in the sport and this clutch is obviously proven to work.

I also did the AMS Clutch line, Lower Clutch lines and AMS Front Motor Mount which were < $150 total.
I use a ACT XTSD and I get lock out occasionally when I shift higher than I normally do ~7,500rpms or so. I'm sure you can adjust the pedal so that it doesn't do that, but i'm too lazy and it hasn't become a major problem with me. I have about 12 track days and 60k miles on this clutch so far
Carbonetic Twin. I tried the cheaper route and went through 2 clutches in 12 months. The cabonetic has about the lowest rotating mass on the tranny input shaft of any clutch (easier on synchros) and for a twin it drives like the OEM clutch. It's also a push conversion and I think has a much better and more consistent fell than the pull setup.
Just got back from giving it another workout at Road Atlanta.

Exedy Twin is absolutely the way to go if you driver your car on the street at all. They have an ultralite version that they sell in the USA now that is about 7# lighter than the normal Exedy Twin or HD Twin.
Normal Exedy Twin - MM022SD
Exedy HD Twin - MM022HD
Exedy Compe-R Twin - MM022SBL
BTW - I have both a new or a used Compe-R for sale. Have 3 of them and need to get rid of one. . .

Is it true that the twin plates don't last long if you daily drive your car? I have a friend that DD his car for about 10-15k miles and the clutch needed a re-build after just being street driven for that mileage?
