My car has this done and it made a huge difference. Since you won't be limited by rules, you can go with one of the more aggressive kits...
Off topic but arent the properly packed rear diffs more prone to breaking on a moderately powered car, whereas with the factory setup they were rarely heard of breaking?
I only ask because at GTA in Joliet Tony from UMS said they had been through 3 repacked Diffs already on their car.

^Did you get any of the options with it or just the basic one? I am not one of the greatest drivers on the track so I am a little scaird to change anything like that on my car.

As for aero, I have not even thought about it yet. I may have VPT do something for me. As for big hukinani wing, NO. I cannot stand how the aero stuff looks.
TRE makes a billet side cover and makes the bearing MUCH bigger to support 3x the load.
TRE also sets up the rear end... remember it's a ring and pinion. Shot peens both, does gear detailing, and then aligns them properly and shims as necessary. I don't think many of these homebuilt units have their contact area blueprinted like TRE.
TRE has a rear sight glass so you can monitor your rear diff fluid level. Very handy! Moves the fill plug to a higher point to make sure the bearing is getting fluid, controls rear diff temperature when you're doubling the torque going through the diff.
You'd be an ignorant fool to think you could rebuild a rear differential at your home in your garage PROPERLY. If you think you can... you're either ignorant of what tools are required to do the job properly... or you're one of those people who think if it works... it must be right.

How is your TRE unit for the average Joe driver is the tail end still easily controlled or have you found yourself driving at or over the limit a lot more? Does it only come on strong when your applying throttle or also on Decel?
