Now put some slicks on that car and see what it can really do

Thanks! Slicks would help, but power is what we need. We were 15mph down from Doug Wind's Street Class SRT-4 on the front straight. Not cool! We are hopefully getting a new ECU setup that will be more reliable and we will see what she can really put down.

that SRT was moving. I couldn't believe the times especially for a FWD car.

HOpefully you guys will have a little better competition next year in the street class.

I am local to Doug and talk to him when he's had his friends shop.... he said he will have more ponies shortly. His skittle is nuts, as is he.

He was telling me about his setup and it isn't anything exotic. Incredible how well it all works together!

It's definately a lot of off the shelf products that he has researched and tested for the right combo. I believe he has found the right combo and it just works for that little neon. That's why I enjoy picking his brain when I have the chance.

Very cool dude and knows his craft.

BTW.... you had a disgusting time on street tires when you came to Road Atlanta. That thing was hauling!

Thanks! Can't wait to come back. That track is so epic and challenging. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to confidently drive it with such incredible blind turns and elevation changes!

Really wish they would do the Thunderbolt track next time. it's a longer and more technical track. the Lightning track award cars with horse power.
