a gymnist eh? i saw some site with a trivia question about that.

its funny though i could tell he was gonna be big when he started on citroen it the 02 season. i have respect for that guy.

as far as mitsu's mishap, im a little dissapointed.

eh...as much as i agree that mitsu's lil "problem" was dissappointing...it is a return to wrc for them after a whole year's break. i find it interesting tho...they're running on a 102.4" wheelbase....while the subie guys are running like 99.0"...and so was mitsu when they ran the 5 and 6 before... just wondering..

well, when watching the rally.. most would think that it was the gearbox, but in all actuality what retired panizzi was the blown motor.. as a result of being stuck in gear, he drove the car in that gear until the motor blew. It showed a couple of shots with the evo spitting out a continuous flame from the high rpms being stuck in gear.

Excalty right - that's what I saw/heard too. Which unfortunately is a bigger problem than the gearbox.

quite interesting....
unfortunatly i didnt see the rally ...
anyone kno where i could get footage online??

Agreed!! I knew back in 02 when I saw him that he was going to be winning big!
