Some of the events will be on Saturday, but not all. I like Saturday events so I can recover on Sunday and not be such a zombie at work on Monday...haha.

What class you going to run?

Rules have been updated on the Competition Form including: revised tire rules for Enthusiast Class, updated tire point adders, updated weight reduction rules (missing from the form in the last version), revised fuel rules for 100 octane tunes, and updated Modified Class Basic Rules. Please review carefully for class eligibility.

See the new forum for details: http://www.extremespeedtrackevents.c..._Form_rev5.pdf

They are still working on getting the Nitto Contingency form uploaded on the XS website.

Join the FB group Extreme Speed AWD Competition if you want to stay up to date on the series. The FB group has been getting a lot more traffic these days than the forums.

Also, Nitto Tire is now an official Contingency Sponsor of the XS AWD Competition Series. They will be awarding a set of tires to podium finishers at EVERY round for the remainder of the 2013 season. You can download the form on how to participate in the program in the FB Group page.

Legal? Yes

Doesn't mean the employer isn't taking a huge liability risk if something were to happen (injury, incident, etc.) since fatigue management is a well documented hazard.

The rule set makes for really close battles between everyone. I've become such a better driver participating in this series.

Good to have sponsors on board like Nitto, Infamous Performance, Eibach Springs, and Road Race Engineering that make it more rewarding for the drivers.

Last year we had an all Mitsubishi sweep in Street and Modified. This year the Subies are coming hard in Street and the newly created Enthusiast Class. Will be interesting to see how the rest of the year pans out.

Very true. I just had to do some OSHA training for work that touched upon this very topic.

Next event is July 13th. SOW at night. Anyone else going?

Based on my previous experiences, the only way to beat the heat during California Summers is to track at night. Extreme Speed has told me there will be flood lights galore to light up the dark spots of the track.

A few people are heading to MOD that morning, then caravaning to Streets afterward.
