I would have gotten out of my car w/ a glock before I let the van w/ my parts leave the premises.

Either way, its good they caught it when they did and got some of their stuff back.

From: Why do they always call the Evo the Dark Side?
Vanessa called 911 while I wrote down the plates to the Astrovan. As ironic as this sounds 911 is thought to be for emergencies yet they placed her on hold. Once dispatch answered, Vanessa tried to give them the number to our original police report and tell them we found our missing car and questioned Vanessa as if we weren’t sure that the car we said we found was really ours. It was as if a bright purple car which florescent wheels was an everyday common vehicle?! Dispatch then said they couldn’t send anyone out until we not only told them exactly how many people total were at the scene, but also what their exact ethnicities were. I’m so glad that 911 is so responsive to their emergency calls. Absolutely ridiculous!
I know it sucks, but... chopping a car up is not exactly a life and death situation. And if they were asking about ethnicities they were probably asking for a reason... trying to figure out whether they needed a squad car or a SWAT team Gangs, that sort of thing.

Welcome to the Socialist Republic of California where the criminal has more rights than the victim. I'm sorry but the cops dropped the ball.

They should of arrested everyone at the location for receiving stolen goods and called child services.

Give the rats a free ride to the station, hold'em for a few hours and then let'em go on lack of evidence. Have a nice walk home Amazing

I don't understand how unarmed homeless person is beaten to death by the cops, a skater is shot to death by the POO, but they let theives with their hands dirty walk.

Hey sorry about my RANT!!!

I'm glad you were able to get most of your property back, wish you luck with your drifting

The law in this country really needs to be looked at. A little over a decade ago, I had my 91 Civic stolen. The local authorities found my car and caught a guy tryin to strip it. At the time, the motor was already out, wheels gone, etc. Well, we go to court several times over the matter, and the ahole gets 6 months probation because they couldn't prove he actually stole the car.

Glad he found his car before it was too late.
Most of the time you will never be able to find it, but sometimes if you are lucky you can find it.

There was also a very popular STI stolen in NJ. It's blue, nice wheels, "stanced", and has the license plate "EVO FTL".

Very unfortunate, and I don't think he's found it.
