Hey guy, I was hoping someone in the motorsports area might have found a cad model of a Evo VIII/IX. Ive found some jpg images but nothing solid ().

Are you looking for a cosmetic model of the body, etc. or a functional model of the suspension geometries and such?

 

Heh, both would be great but Ill settle for either . I wanted to play around with some aero models on the chassis.

 

I found a pretty good one I could forward to you, it's a "dress up" model, cosmetic, but nicely detailed and would probably work for aero. send me a reminder email later tonight. dmikko at googles gmail dot com

 

If you are doing aero, remember it has to be sealed. This can be a major *** pain from experience. We never found any models good enough for CFD.

BUMP, trying to bring this back to life, anyone found any good CT9A chassis models?

 

Jarrod hoops had his car scanned since he's working with amb. However, its not a stock body car, and I'm not sure how much he is allowed to share...

 

If I remember how Jarrod worded it, he owns the scan of his car since he paid for it. So we cant just call up AMB and buy a model from him. I don't know what the agreement is between Jarrod and AMB though so it certainly could be forever inaccessible to us.

 

yeah, i couldnt remember which part he owns in the deal. i do know that it is all spelled out when you contract with andrew though. for now ill just be zooming in as far as i can on the pictures like that that he posts
