Chasing the Dragon IV Hillclimb
thank you, but i dont know how you guys will uber the Lancia Delta Integrale Grupe A car was build and drive for D. Auriol.... Won for an example the WRC Rally Monte Carlo event ... LOL
but thank you for the compliment.
Just for the lancia alone worth to go there . I am serious.
here is our mistakes video for start
72 cars put time down end of the race, i won the rally category over the integrale more then 12 sec,. I was able to beat my last year record time on the hill for rally cars over 7 sec. Also i finished 4th place behind Jeremy and the flying finn. And the v8 nissan something
I had obviously trouble in teh right turns with my new shifter, but its oke , i didnt sit in this car in the past 8 months. So we showed up there with 0 practice. Story of my life. First day settings , tire pressure and newly adjusted barkes, that is i had to get find out and get used to. But we were there for fun and we had a lots of it. Jeremy is fast as usual there is nothing new. Only thing i lost a bet on him. But anyway i am so grateful i did this event against all odds to not having in the car this long.
I am sooo happy
but thank you for the compliment.

Great weekend of hillclimbing! The car ran great and it turned out to be a tricky hill to learn. I was able to win my class and set the new SU record.
The big race for me turned into the overall king of the hill race. I was able to secure 1st on Sat by a measly .03. I woke up on Sunday and realized that the time i ran on Sat was most likely not going to stand. So, i went out and right off the bat started shaving some more time off. I was only able take a few tenth's off but knew that i had left a decent bit still out there. I went to take my second run (one that i thought would be the most crucial) and was ready to lay it all out. Well, second turn i hear an exhaust note change and hear a big thunk. There goes the muffler, I stay in it. Then around the next turn i bottom out and start to hear something dragging off the front of the car. At this point the run feels good and i throw caution to the wind and try to forget about all these problems. I get up the top and did have my fastest run of the weekend.( Which put me .4 ahead) I take a look over the car and start laughing about how things are just starting to fall off the car. I was hoping that the time would be enough to stand on but, it was not meant to be. A few minutes later i see the time of my rival. He just beat my time by .3. At that point i decided that it was just not worth it for me to struggle to fix the car in the short amount of time before the rain was suppose to get there. (the hassle of being a one man show) I got to my pit spot and looked things over one last time to make sure i was making the smart choice of calling it a day. And not more then 10 minutes later the rain started to come so i knew that my choice was already made for me. Oh well, there is always next time.
