They rolled the STI and then brought up another brand new one for the next heat

 

Travis Pastrana just completley destroyed an EVO by rolling it and then dropped it into gear and drove away to the finish! Hey, it looked good wingless though. On the slow motion replay you can see the wing snap apart into 4 pieces, and as he drives away, you can see the carbon fiber base still bolted to the trunklid. The commentator said that there was a slightly used, nicely running EVO for sale and it showed Travis driving away with the back end of the roof crumpled. Haha then he hopped out of the car and into the Pegeout (sp.) for a rematch.

 

It is a repeat, and I'm watching it again!

 

That was pretty cool. Pastrana was a trip.

Ah well.. its back on Febuary 27th at 7:00 PM MST. The 2002 Race of Champions is on at 6:00 PM...
