the road race engineering one is the progress. i like it because it comes with the mounts. i picked it specifically for that reinforcement.

Robispec makes (or at least used to make) a 26mm 4-way bar.

Front bars are equally as important, why not compile those as well?

I think Doug mentioned that this is "autocross minded" because a lot of focus in autocross is on the rear bar, not necessarily the front, especially in STU, where he runs his car. I do agree that the front bar is also important though. In fact, I have an upgraded front bar and stock rear bar in my SM car.

Yeah, good idea. I will edit my OP... and to reiterate, I am looking for help on collecting sway specifications (rear in particular) for the 8/9, as a percentage over stock.

Maybe add weights?

Hotchkis rear is 6.7 lbs
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/10692762-post350.html

Tanabe front is 7.8 lbs
http://highboostforum.com/forum/show...n-thread/page4

There are weights for the stock bar as well.

I personally run the 'Rampage (HKS UK)' tarmac setup. It was something that was popularized for their tarmac rally stages and endurance race cars. If there was a need for some more front balance a whitline front on soft could be added.

Drilled front stock and whiteline 26mm on medium.

Look up the settings for the R4 ct9a rally car and those make a good platform to start from.

Car is nicely balanced but you have to toss it... the front feels like more understeer but all the data and times show more grip. If you have ever driven a heavily suspensioned subaru you know what i mean about having to toss it to turn.

I've seen this mentioned a few times now... was there once an adjustable front bar from Whiteline? if so, what happened to it?

Have you already tried reaching out to the manufacturers?

Mention you're compiling a list for the Evo community, I bet they help out in the interest of possible future sales.
