I've been SO anxious man! I look at the GoPro everyday thinking how much I can't wait to slap that on someones car and get some killer footage

 

We are taking a load of Go-Pros...8 or 9 I think

 

I'll be down there Tuesday or so, gotta stop in at ToxicFab and have my intercooler patched up

Is everyone on here staying at the Marriott? Still unsure on when I'm coming down, maybe Wednesday afternoon and crash at a buddies. Still working out a few things with the car ( even though it's slow ).

 

Yes, we're staying at the main hotel, Marriott westchase. I loaded my car on the truck, I still have a bunch of stuff to finish when I get there lol.

 

Nah nothing yet lol, I'm expecting people to start rolling in tonight probably.

Day 1 was pretty intense. The surface at TWS is super sketchy and almost every driver complained about how bumpy and dangerous the surface was. Kinda figured that would happen.

The Evo that KevinD tuned had a catostrophic failure during his first full speed pass. Josh was keeping the rev's high on the bank in anticipation of the start and it starved the pickup of oil. We hadn't really anticipated this problem since the car has been street raced the car for years with no issues. But the steep bank, slow speeds, and high revs is not a good combo.




I'll post up some more stuff after dinner.
