Wider Wheels, New Coilovers?
Sounding very defensive bro. I'm just stating my point and what I've noticed. No need to be critical of my techniques. Didn't realize I was dealing with a pro. You've criticized my judgement and technique but have not elaborated on my wheel set-up conundrum. Since you're such a pro, what's your take on the wheel set-up?
This isn't general, 10 post "bro". A lot of guys in here have a lot of experience and are giving you good advice. If you only want to hear "Buy XYZ parts" then just do it without asking. But don't ask for advice and get upset it's not what you wanted to hear.
As others have said this is not a section of the forum to get butt hurt easily. I posted some auto-x videos in here and had guys pick apart my run and tell me I easily left two seconds on the table. I know that I'm not pushing my car to the limit, rather that I've reached a plateau as a driver and that I need good auto-x/track guy input to help me advance. I simply cannot get faster on my own and need the advice of the wiser guys to help me improve. I don't know a single person in this section but I know that I've seen their screen names in countless threads giving out solid advice.
I, nor you, seem to be in a position to have them do a ride along so having them dissect my techniques via videos is a great alternative. Do you have a GoPro so you can review your laps and see where you're making mistakes? If so, I highly recommend it and also recommend coming in here with some humility and asking for help.
Wider wheels and tires will definitely help as more grip is more grip. However, they will only be a marginal improvement as the truly limiting factor is between your ears not between your car and the ground.
