Talking Still Opportunity to Get on The Track 3/6-7/2004 DFW Drivers!

Good Morning All,

Please assist in getting the word out regarding these announcements. Please forward this message to your friends and to the message boards that are registered for or interested in registering for the NASA TEXAS 2004 SEASON OPENER at Motorsport Ranch, March 5-6, 2004.

In the hustle and bustle of life, it is important to remember what is really important in life. I have learned through my involvement in racing and motorsports that the joy that I receive goes way beyond winning a race, it is in the wonderful friends that have been made along the way and in the great people that are involved in this sport. We are recognizing one such person this weekend, furthermore, we are recognizing the true spirit that draws us all together weekend after weekend, year after year.
IN LOVING MEMORY OF CHRIS HEWETT - Texas RX7 Racer and Great Friend to many. Go to www.spec7.org under General Discussion, the thread titled: Chris Hewett - Rest in Peace Friend...to learn more about this courageous man. NASA Texas will help to honor the memory of Chris during the beginning of the lunch hour, observing a moment of silence as his fellow racers and friends make a memorial lap around MSR.

Still Accepting Entries. Please do not register online. Please print the appropriate forms for your entry type and bring them with you to MSR. Please do not fax any more entries. Walk-ups are welcomed. We have forms if you are not able to print any (or forget them :-) :-)

REQUEST. Please check-in and register this evening from 6PM to 10:30PM. With as many phone calls and e-mails as we have received, we know that check-in and registration is going to be very busy. We want to avoid having everybody try to check-in on Saturday morning. We have refreshments and snacks for you this evening. Of course, we will welcome you just as much on Saturday morning. But, it would be a huge help if you could try to make it on Friday evening. THANK YOU.

We are going to be traveling to MSR today. Please call us on our cell phones with any questions. Shannon-281-802-9863 Deanna-817-243-2286.
