30 to 40 only?? Man, things must go quick. The autox's in Houston are filled with 200+ drivers. There's another one I go to that's roughly 75 people. Urbanknight, do you guys get to autox in the snow too?

It's been quite a while since it's snowed in Los Angeles, and they probably didn't have an autocross then. The warm weather is why we don't have an off season here, we race every month Jan through Dec.

I would recommend no lower than starting with 1/4 tank like everyone else says. I had the pleasure of taking about 20 runs on an autocross course this weekend and actually had the fuel light come on. Didn't get fuel cut, but quickly headed to the local gas station to play it safe.

This is such a pleasant departure from my 3rd Gen RX-7 that required almost a full tank of gas to avoid fuel cut.
