Model/Year Recommendations for Rallyx Evo?

Hi everyone,

After 9 years of rallyx in mostly Civics of varying states (NA, supercharged, turbo charged), I have decided to move to the stock/prepared AWD class with a basically stock car that will reliably go fast. Now that I have 4 kids, it seems that moving to a car that doesn't require constant attention is beneficial to my home and sex life... :/
Anyway, at the moment I am having a fire sale on honda parts and I am seriously looking into Evo's. No Subaru's because I mentioned "reliable" above. The two must haves are a front diff and ACD, which limits me to 2005 and up.
I do like the MIVEC, so that pushes me further towards the IX's and up.
Please see my list below and lend me your thoughts on my future EVO purchase.
- Main purpose is to be competitive in SA or maybe PA in Rallyx. I race with some national contenders and if they are always running in PA, then I will go there. I don't plan to go to nationals, but I do enjoy tight races with my friends.
- Will do some local Autox's and track days for fun
- No 6 speeds
- 5 speed OK
- SST ok
- RS preferred, but not required.
- I'll take some time finding "the one" and I will travel to do so
- I don't want to spend $30k for a toy car
- Not a DD, don't require amenities

Thanks in advance for input!

There's a couple on here that are in the low 13's that are street beaten and ready for a buildup (some rust looked like).

Thanks for the heads up. Being from the rust belt, I am doing my best to stay away from rusty cars
