Has anyone ran them?

The newer H2O's? They are fairly wide, I have the 245's on a 17x9.5 wheel and they line up perfectly. You'll need a 10 or 10.5 to hold the 275's. Normally in dry racing the wider the contact patch the better, however in rain racing the opposite is true. You want a skinnier patch to cut through the standing water and obv your driving style/line will change as well so as not to overwhelm them. Pressure wise I honestly haven't had enough time to pull data as it was always a last minute change

thanks for the reply.

we run a 285 on 10.5 for the dry but have a set of 9.5's coming for the wet. i assumed it was the same theory as a snow tire but didnt know if the hoosiers cleared water so well and were so grippy they defied normal wet surface logic

i think we'll run a 245 on a 9.5

i have hoosier wet but have never once needed to run them in 6 years. in time trials, there's usually one session where the dry hoosier will be faster than the wets even on a rainy day.
