NEW BEST FOR CMP ON 3/27/04 in SC
Man, I am about to bust. The only time I was timed at CMP was in the heat of the day on worn tires and brakes, and the best I could go was a 1:57. My previous best was a 1:53, bone stock, but that was basically on new tires (*stock*).
Well, I got the footage from my friends corner cam, we setup cameras on some corners and just let the run during the day. Anyway, I was reviewing my first run, on fresh brakes, but slightly worn tires, and I ran several laps at 1:50:10-1:50:45.
Man, that is smoking fast, considering the suspension is still pretty stock, save the cusco adjustable sway in the rear. It is amazing what another 75whp will do for your times and to vette owners pride. Now, I am ordering some coil-overs and some slicks, say hello to mid 1:40's.
Thanks to AMS for helping tune the stage one kit.
