evo 4 - 6 and evo 7 - 9 axles different?

Hey All,

Are evo 4 - 6 and evo 7 - 9 RS axles the same length or different? im talking RS not AYC axles here.

Keep hearing different things. And while we are on the topic are the X RS axles different again or all the same?

Also does anybody have any actual knowledge on the inner workings e.g is evo 4 - 9 CW and Pinion the same but evo X stronger as ive been told? or are evo 4 - 6 CWP different from E7-9 also

Any thing else internally that is different between 4 - 6 and 7 - 9?

What's the goal? I don't think any of them are interchangeably bolt-on. For instance the X's are longer then the 7-9's. The best bet is to have custom ones like DSS axels if you need something longer/stronger etc. (yes she said).

i wana convert from AYC to RS. Its alot cheaper to get a 5 - 6 RS rear end with diff and axles than it is to import a 7 - 9 one from ebay. Hence why im trying to figure out wether the axles are same or not as some people say they are same others say they are shorter than ct9a axles

Since rear end is identical, axles should be close enough. Try MLR lancer Register, for info: use search feature under Gearbox Transmission forum section.
