yea i thought you might be talking about a spin but generally when u talk brakes and degrees ur talking heat lol. I have 362mm AP rotors and AP Radical 6 pot front. DBA Pro5000 rear standard size discs and standard calipers rear and its plenty enough. high power high aero car doing 10 lap races

The biggest gains youll get are from ducting. im not sure what you mean about the 270degrees but if you mean temp then thats not very high. if your up around 1000deg thats when your in trouble.
Girodisc aren't soft. The reason you burnt up your front discs was because of the front brake compound and the front discs overheated. Nothing else.

Ducting is massive. It can make or break the best designed cars.

Actually, the reason for the heat damage was the nut between the seat and the steering wheel. I took a break from track days a couple of years ago and have been struggling with mechanical issues and haven't had much seat time. At my prior track day last November, I was riding the brakes way too much and boiled the fluid three sessions in a row. I was much better last Sunday and even got my best lap time in over two years about three laps before the spin. I already have ducting and it has helped in the past. I'm hoping that the plate for the duct will fit the new brakes.

Got the AP Racing brakes installed today. They look marvelous. Unfortunately, I will not be trying them out anytime soon. While the car was at the shop, I had them look at the wiring for my AFR gauge that went blank during my last track day. Wire was melted and the fracking manifold to turbo bolts had backed off, again.
