Anyone going to E.M.R.A.'s Time Trial at Pocono's East Course august 10th (its on a Tuesday)? I've been to two E.M.R.A. TT's this year, and everyones pretty cool there, I had a great time at both events.

I'm interested in EMRA, but am a little confused...they are not drivers schools, correct? Do you have an instructor in the car with you until you get "signed off"? How much are you paying? Do you have to "join" EMRA.
TIA!

No its not a school but they do stick an instructor in the car with you your first couple times out on the track and you sit in a calss for about 30 minutes to get some track basics. But its all very casual

Your first time is $170(twenty extra for the class), then all other times its $150.

You dont have to join anything. http://www.emraracing.org/

Hope to see you there, any more questions, just ask.

If you interest to try driving on track, the best way is to start with a formal driving school event (or hpde, like NASA called it).

I've running with Bmwcca and NASA for almost 5 yrs and they both have very good program for ppl like to track their car

try to see if there's a region near you
