Catching up...
Haven't written in a while and I wanted to check in.
Things are crazy at the moment trying to get ready for Topeka. This will be my first year to attend and I'm looking forward to it. I'm also looking forward to meeting my fellow Evo autocrossers. I've communicated with several of you and heard great things about many of you from Jeff Winchell!
A big thanks to Shiv over at Vishnu! He dyno'd our car and loaded an Xede map for race gas. The car is making excellent power now. Makes me wish I had gone in and done it sooner. Vishnu rocks.
We skipped the Bremerton Nat. Tour. I had a lot going on plus a week before the event, only 2 people were signed up for ESP, one of whom was my co-driver, Navid! Too far to travel for such a small class. Would have been fun though...
Wendover, UT - this was a very frustrating weekend. It was a power course and we were down quite a bit from the Camaros. Ended up making suspension changes after the first day, only to realize Sunday morning that we had made things a little worse. Still, I found Wendover to be an interesting place with a neat history. We also ran against Vesko and Brian. They were a lot of fun to hang out with, but sadly they had car problems and were unable to finish the event (in an Evo at least. Sun a.m. they gridded in their Mini!!! Never say die, right?).
Speak up if you're headed to Topeka. Maybe we can get all the Evo's together for a few pics! And an intense rain dance!
Later,
Joe

Joe, I guess I'll see you and Navid at the ProSolo Finale. I won't have my Street Mod Evo with me for any group photo though; I'm codriving in one of those *cough* Subarus. Although when you get the chance to drive a car which has beaten you twice already this year, it's an easy decision to make.
I'll be heading home after the Finale, so I'll miss the really big show.
