Seems the "fever" for markup has gone down.
There are a LOT of EVO's in Chicago dealer showrooms and lots.
I visited a dealer this weekend who had 5 EVO's in stock. I took one for test drive. WOW! Awesome performance. I love those seats.

I've heard that dealers are now going under MSRP as the cars are not moving that well. I'm sure the economy and the coming STi have slowed sales.
But, my guess is that the STi's will have the same issues. There will be markups for a few weeks, those who HAVE TO have one will pay and then it'll slow down.

I'm wondering about a standard wing model. What does the short wing look like? Is it the same as the Lancer wing or is it more like the short wing on the Japanese GT-A Lancer EVO version? That wing is slightly raised above the rear deck lid about 4" as opposed to the standard Lancer wing which almost hugs the decklid.

And, if you could answer, when will the 6 disc stereo be available?
Where will it fit? I've seen the Euro model and the dash is slightly different than what we get (what else is new). Their dash has a large stereo which I guess is the 6 disc unit and the HVAC controls are smaller knobs rather than the larger dials we get. Any insight on what is the answer? Will the 6 disc setup have a slightly different dash config?
And, if I get an EVO now will I be able to retrofit the 6 disc indash later?

I'm looking for a silver EVO with sunroof and a short wing (if it looks good)
or the blue. This automobile is AWESOME.

Hi Again,

The 6 Disc in dash CD changer can be added to the existing configuration that Evo has now. The changer will be install in the space beneath the standard radio. You will be able to control it thru the same radio set.

I have not had the opportunity to have seen the actuall small spoiler on the Evo yet therefore I can not give you an idea. All of the ones that we have order have always had the Big Spoiler, but since Mitsubishi gave us (Kendall Mitsubishi) the opportunity to get more Evos' as soon as we want, I'm sure I can locate you one. I went to a dealer today in Ft Lauderdale and the price they gave me was 36,000 US$ since you say you are selling at MRSP can you send me and e-mail on the prices you have for the EVO's you have. Do you take trade-ins?

Try calling them, i was about to buy it from them, but a dealer closer to home offered me MSRP also, I spoke to eddie and he was really helpful. I live in Miami though so i just had to go and pick it up.
